Job Summary
The Draftsman is responsible for converting approved interior designs into accurate production-ready and installation-ready technical drawings. The role acts as the bridge between design, manufacturing, and installation, ensuring every project is technically feasible, optimized for production, and executed without errors. This includes preparing shop drawings, production drawings, hardware details, and CNC-ready documentation using the Aixperia design-to-production platform and AutoCAD. The responsibilities align with current industry practices for modular furniture drafting.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Drawings
- Prepare detailed production drawings for kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, vanities, storage units, and custom furniture.
- Create shop drawings, sectional details, elevations, and exploded assembly drawings.
- Develop cutting lists, panel details, hardware schedules, and BOMs.
- Ensure drawings comply with Mayah manufacturing standards.
Production Coordination
- Coordinate with designers to resolve technical issues before production.
- Work closely with factory, procurement, and installation teams.
- Update drawings based on client revisions and site conditions.
- Minimize production errors through accurate detailing.
Site Support
- Verify site measurements when required.
- Resolve technical issues during installation.
- Provide revised drawings for site modifications.
Quality & Documentation
- Maintain revision history of drawings.
- Ensure proper documentation for every project.
- Follow company drawing standards and naming conventions.
- Maintain technical libraries of standard modules and accessories.
Skills Required
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience with modular furniture detailing.
- Knowledge of cabinetry construction methods.
- Understanding of plywood, laminates, edge banding, hardware, and accessories.
- Ability to read architectural and interior drawings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with CNC-oriented production drawings is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Aixperia software will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Draftsmanship, Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in modular furniture or interior fit-out drafting.
- Freshers with exceptional AutoCAD skills may also be considered.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹37,952.73 per month
