Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-focused and proactive Captain to oversee daily floor operations and ensure excellent guest service standards in the café. The Captain will supervise service staff, coordinate with kitchen and bar teams, handle guest concerns, and ensure smooth operations during shifts while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:Guest Service & Floor Operations
- Welcome and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure guests receive prompt and high-quality service throughout their visit.
- Take orders accurately and ensure timely service delivery.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve concerns or complaints efficiently.
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
Team Supervision
- Supervise and guide service staff during shifts.
- Assign duties and ensure responsibilities are executed effectively.
- Conduct team briefings before shifts regarding menu updates, promotions, and service standards.
- Train and mentor new team members on SOPs and customer service practices.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and attendance.
Operational Responsibilities
- Coordinate with kitchen and beverage teams for seamless order execution.
- Ensure smooth floor operations during peak and non-peak hours.
- Monitor table turnover and seating arrangements.
- Ensure café cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are maintained.
- Support opening and closing procedures of the café.
Billing & Cash Handling
- Assist with POS operations and billing when required.
- Ensure billing accuracy and proper handling of customer payments.
Inventory & Compliance
- Monitor availability of service items and coordinate replenishment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company operational standards.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

Working Conditions:
