Job Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities of the automobile dealership, including billing, payment processing, cash handling, vendor payments, bank reconciliation, GST documentation, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare customer invoices for vehicle sales, service, and spare parts.
- Handle daily cash, cheque, UPI, and bank transactions.
- Maintain petty cash records and expense statements.
- Process vendor payments and follow up for outstanding dues.
- Prepare and maintain accounting vouchers and ledgers.
- Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
- Assist in GST filing, TDS, and statutory compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with sales, service, and HR departments for financial documentation.
- Maintain records of vehicle stock invoices and payments.
- Verify supporting documents before processing payments.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounts records.
- Support salary processing and reimbursement entries if required.
