Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Finance Manager to serve as a strategic finance partner to business and operations teams. In this role, you will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, business performance analysis, and strategic decision support to help drive business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business performance reviews, including MIS, P&L analysis, and variance analysis.
- Analyze key business metrics such as CAC, LTV, contribution margins, and unit economics to identify growth opportunities and cost optimization initiatives.
- Develop financial models to support new business initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
- Monitor budgets versus actual performance across departments and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation and long-term business planning.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to evaluate business cases and measure ROI on strategic initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and process automation.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Support fundraising activities, investor reporting, and board presentation preparation when required.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Financial Planning, or related finance roles.
- Experience working in a startup, EdTech, or other high-growth environment is preferred.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Solid understanding of unit economics, business performance metrics, and operational finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence business decisions through data-driven insights.
- Self-driven with a high ownership mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable presenting financial insights to senior leadership.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
