Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to join our IT and Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing interactive dashboards, data modeling, SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and Power BI administration. The role involves transforming business requirements into meaningful reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage Power BI environments, and contribute to continuous improvements in reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Administer and manage Power BI Service, workspaces, datasets, and security.
- Design and implement efficient data models, data mappings, and data flows.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation.
- Gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into BI solutions.
- Create KPIs, scorecards, and executive dashboards for various business functions.
- Perform data validation, report testing, and troubleshoot reporting issues.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and report performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and external stakeholders throughout BI projects.
- Provide user training and support on Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Develop operational monitoring and reporting standards.
- Support Azure-based data integration and reporting solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvement.
- Prepare technical documentation and reporting guidelines.
- Stay updated with Microsoft Power BI, Azure, and Business Intelligence best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Power BI development.
- Experience in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure services is preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
