Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Measurement & Technical Executive to conduct accurate site measurements, prepare technical drawings, and support the successful execution of modular furniture projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in AutoCAD and SketchUp, along with hands-on experience in site surveying, production coordination, and installation support.
Key Responsibilities
Site Measurement & Survey
Conduct precise site measurements for modular furniture installations, ensuring millimeter-level accuracy.
Measure wall dimensions, floor levels, ceiling heights, beam positions, columns, plumbing points, electrical outlets, and other site conditions.
Identify site constraints that may impact design or installation.
Technical Drawings & Design
Prepare and update detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
Convert site measurements into production-ready technical drawings.
Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and manufacturing standards.
Feasibility Analysis
Evaluate site conditions and recommend modifications to ensure structural feasibility and functional design.
Coordinate with design teams to resolve technical issues before production.
Production Coordination
Prepare production-ready cut lists and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Provide technical specifications to the production team for accurate manufacturing.
Coordinate with production to ensure drawings are correctly interpreted.
Installation & Quality Support
Work closely with installation teams during project execution.
Provide technical guidance and resolve site-related issues.
Verify that installations are completed according to approved drawings and quality standards.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed records of site measurements and technical drawings.
Prepare daily site visit reports, feasibility reports, and project progress updates.
Ensure all project documentation is properly maintained for future reference.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
ITI in Cabinet Making or relevant technical certification will also be considered.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in modular furniture, interior fit-outs, site measurement, or technical execution.
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
Strong working knowledge of SketchUp.
Excellent understanding of modular furniture manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of edge banding, panel cutting, hardware systems, and installation techniques.
Strong ability to interpret architectural and interior drawings.
High attention to detail with excellent measurement accuracy.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
