Job Summary
We are seeking a technically competent and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage the end-to-end procurement process for electronic, electrical, mechanical, and engineering-related materials. The ideal candidate should have a technical background (B.E./B.Tech) with a strong understanding of engineering components, vendor management, sourcing strategies, and procurement processes.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, ensuring timely procurement, maintaining cost efficiency, and coordinating with internal technical teams to meet project requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Sourcing
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for engineering and technical materials.
- Source electronic, electrical, mechanical, and industrial components from approved vendors.
- Identify and develop new suppliers to improve quality, pricing, and delivery performance.
- Obtain quotations, perform comparative analysis, and prepare cost evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements with vendors.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, delivery, and service.
- Conduct vendor comparisons and recommend suitable suppliers.
- Resolve procurement-related issues with vendors in coordination with internal teams.
- Maintain an updated vendor database and supplier documentation.
Coordination & Planning
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Stores, and Project teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Ensure materials are procured according to technical specifications and project timelines.
- Follow up with vendors regarding deliveries and pending purchase orders.
- Coordinate logistics and shipment schedules whenever required.
- Support urgent procurement requirements for critical projects.
Inventory & Documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of critical materials.
- Maintain procurement records, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
- Ensure all procurement documentation complies with company policies.
- Prepare procurement reports, vendor performance reports, and cost-saving analysis.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Cost Optimization
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
- Monitor market trends and pricing of engineering materials.
- Recommend alternate suppliers and equivalent components wherever feasible.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives to improve procurement efficiency.

- Strong knowledge of technical components, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and engineering drawings.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and datasheets.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) – Mandatory

- Candidates with a technical/engineering background will be given preference.
Experience
- Experience: 3–6 years in Procurement, Purchase, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in procurement of electronic, electrical, mechanical, or industrial components is mandatory.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, electronics, defence, industrial automation, or engineering organizations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹10,091.63 - ₹32,493.03 per month
