Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Progress Audit
- Review planned vs actual project progress and identify delays or deviations
- Assess project schedules, milestones, and execution timelines
- Evaluate manpower deployment, resource planning, and productivity levels
- Review project monitoring systems and risk mitigation mechanisms
- Identify bottlenecks impacting project completion
2. Project Billing & Measurement Verification
- Verify project measurements, BOQ quantities, and billing records
- Review work certification processes and supporting documentation
- Assess contract compliance with respect to billing standards and specifications
- Identify unbilled work, variation claims, and extra items not accounted for
- Validate completeness and accuracy of project records
3. Cost Control & Resource Utilization Audit
- Review material reconciliation and consumption records
- Assess inventory utilization, wastage control, and material management practices
- Evaluate labour productivity, deployment efficiency, and reconciliation records
- Review equipment utilization, idle time analysis, and resource optimization opportunities
- Verify diesel consumption and equipment operating records
4. Subcontractor & Vendor Performance Review
- Review subcontractor work certification and billing processes
- Verify subcontractor performance against project requirements
- Assess recovery mechanisms and commercial implications of subcontractor activities
- Evaluate vendor compliance with project specifications
5. Quality Assurance & Technical Compliance Audit
- Review quality control procedures and testing records
- Verify NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), corrective actions, and closure status
- Assess rework instances, root causes, and cost implications
- Review inspection reports, material test reports, and quality documentation
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering standards
6. Safety & Risk Management Audit
- Review safety compliance records and site safety practices
- Assess penalties, safety incidents, and associated project risks
- Verify implementation of safety audits and corrective actions
- Evaluate overall risk management and control mechanisms
7. Construction Process Review
- Review concrete production records, mix design approvals, and consumption analysis
- Verify procurement and material receipt processes against approved indent specifications
- Assess construction methodologies and execution efficiency
- Review engineering controls and project governance practices
8. Audit Reporting & Recommendations
- Prepare detailed audit observations and technical review reports
- Identify project risks, cost leakages, delays, and improvement opportunities
- Present findings and recommendations to management and project stakeholders
- Track implementation of corrective actions and improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, 5+ years of experience in Project Execution, Project Management, Construction Management, Technical Audit, Project Controls, or Infrastructure Projects
- Experience in EPC, Infrastructure, Industrial, Construction, Power, Railways, Metro, Roads, Highways, Water, or Oil & Gas projects preferred
- Exposure to large-scale engineering and infrastructure projects will be an added advantage
