Full-Stack Web Developer – EduNest
About the Role
We are looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer to join our EduNest project and help us maintain, improve, and expand our existing website and software platform.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on an existing codebase, understanding current functionality, fixing bugs, developing new features, and ensuring that the website, backend, database, and integrations work together reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the existing EduNest website and web application.
- Develop new features based on business requirements.
- Fix frontend, backend, and database-related issues.
- Work with the existing SQL database and maintain data integrity.
- Develop and maintain APIs and backend functionality.
- Maintain payment gateway integrations and transaction-related features.
- Work on admin panel functionality, authentication, and access control.
- Support invoice, GST, and other business-related integrations.
- Improve website performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
- Deploy and maintain changes in development and production environments.
- Test all changes and ensure existing functionality is not affected.
- Follow coding standards, version control, and proper documentation.
- Collaborate with management and other team members to understand and implement changing requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend development.
- Experience with React / Next.js or equivalent frontend technologies.
- Experience with Node.js / TypeScript or PHP, depending on the project stack.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience working with payment gateways and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and web security.
- Experience with Git and deployment processes.
- Ability to understand and work on an existing codebase.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with e-commerce, education platforms, registration systems, or business management software.
- Experience with payment processing and invoice systems.
- Knowledge of GST-related software integrations.
- Experience with cloud hosting, Linux, and server management.
- Experience with responsive UI and modern web animations.
- Familiarity with testing and performance optimization.
Experience
1 years of relevant experience in full-stack web development.
Freshers with strong practical project experience may also be considered if they can demonstrate the required technical skills.
