Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Transition Manager to lead the end-to-end transition of Oracle application services, including Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and Oracle PaaS into an Application Management Services (AMS) support model.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing Oracle application transitions, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer, governance, risk management, and successful handover to AMS operations while maintaining service continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the complete transition lifecycle from planning through stabilization.
- Develop and maintain transition plans, timelines, governance, and reporting.
- Coordinate Knowledge Transfer (KT), shadowing, and reverse shadowing activities.
- Ensure all transition documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and process documents are complete.
- Identify, track, and mitigate transition risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, incumbent vendors, and delivery teams.
- Define service readiness across people, processes, and tools.
- Ensure a smooth transition into AMS operations (L2/L3 Support).
- Monitor transition progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Support post-transition stabilization and early-life support.
- Align resource onboarding and ramp-up with transition milestones.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in IT Services with strong exposure to Application/Service Transition.
- Experience managing Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion application transitions.
- Strong understanding of AMS delivery models (L2/L3 Support).
- Proven experience in transition planning, governance, and execution.
- Experience working in global and multi-vendor delivery environments.
- Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and Oracle PaaS is preferred.
- Familiarity with ITIL and structured transition methodologies.
- Oracle certifications are an added advantage.
