Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Senior Business Development Executive to expand our IT services business by identifying new opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and representing the organization across industry events. This role combines core business development responsibilities with active participation in technology, startup, and networking events to strengthen our market presence and generate high-quality business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and nurture business opportunities for IT services through outbound outreach, referrals, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and networking.
- Build relationships with CXOs, founders, engineering leaders, and decision-makers to identify potential business opportunities.
- Research, identify, and participate in relevant technology, startup, and business networking events, conferences, and meetups.
- Represent the organization at industry events, engage with prospective clients, and build strategic connections.
- Conduct discovery discussions to understand client requirements and recommend suitable IT service offerings.
- Coordinate with technical and leadership teams to prepare proposals, capability presentations, and solution discussions.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline, client interactions, and follow-up activities using CRM tools.
- Share market insights, customer feedback, and industry trends to support business growth initiatives.
- Build long-term relationships with clients and partners to drive repeat business and strategic collaborations.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Business Development, IT Services Sales, or Client Acquisition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in lead generation, client engagement, and consultative selling.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools, Excel, and sales tracking platforms.
- Understanding of IT services, software development, cloud technologies, or digital transformation solutions.
- Ability to confidently represent the organization during client meetings and industry events.
Preferred Skills
- Experience attending or representing organizations at technology, startup, or business networking events.
- Existing network within the startup, technology, or enterprise ecosystem.
- Exposure to cloud services, SaaS products, staffing, or software consulting.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and delivery teams.
