About the Role
SpiderWorks Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Accounts Intern to join our finance team. This internship offers hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial documentation, and day-to-day finance activities. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accounting records and financial documents.
- Support the preparation and verification of invoices, bills, and vouchers.
- Record daily financial transactions accurately.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain financial records.
- Organize and file accounting documents for easy retrieval.
- Assist in preparing GST-related documents and other statutory records.
- Support month-end and year-end accounting activities.
- Maintain data accuracy in spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding payment and invoice-related queries.
- Perform other finance and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), MBA (Finance), or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with MS Excel or Google Sheets.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Tally ERP, Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic functions).
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
