Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Social Studies Teacher to handle Grades X to XII under the CBSE curriculum. The candidate should be able to make subjects like History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics engaging and relevant for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective Social Studies lessons for Grades VI to VIII
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments
- Encourage critical thinking, discussions, and project-based learning
- Monitor student performance and provide regular feedback
- Maintain a disciplined and interactive classroom environment
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Studies / History / Geography / Political Science / Economics
- B.Ed. is mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
- Ability to integrate current affairs into teaching
Preferred:
- Experience handling Grade VI to VIII board classes
- Familiarity with CBSE exam patterns and evaluation methods
Salary: As per experience and qualifications
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
