Assistant Merchant

We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Merchant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of fashion merchandising and contribute directly to our export operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Merchant in the entire sampling process, from initial concept to final approval.
- Support the Merchant in processing orders accurately and efficiently. This involves liaising with buyers, internal departments (production, quality control, logistics), and ensuring all order details are correctly documented and communicated.
- Assist in the sourcing of fabrics, trims, and accessories, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of materials according to production schedules.
- Work closely with the production team to monitor the progress of orders.
- Assist in coordinating quality control checks at various stages of production to ensure adherence to buyer specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, samples, and shipments.
- Act as a key point of contact for buyers and internal teams, ensuring clear and timely communication on all aspects of the order lifecycle. Follow up on pending issues and ensure timely resolution.
1-3 years of relevant experience in merchandising, preferably within the apparel export industry .
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
