- Prepare and cook Chinese dishes according to standard recipes.
- Handle wok cooking, Chinese sauces, gravies, and food garnishing.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of food.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
- Monitor food stock levels and inform the supervisor about shortages.
- Properly store food items and maintain FIFO standards.
- Assist in menu planning and introducing new Chinese dishes.
- Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served on time.
- Follow hotel/restaurant safety and sanitation policies.
- Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs.
