Key Responsibilities
1. Field Sales & Client Meetings (60%)
- Site & Office Visits: Conduct regular field travel to meet plant engineers, maintenance managers, and procurement officers across assigned territories.
2. Sales Execution & Inquiries (30%)
- Requirement Gathering: Collect detailed technical specifications (e.g., pressure ratings, thread sizes, material grades like SS304/316) from clients on-site.
- Quotation Support: Work with the internal technical/estimation team to prepare accurate price quotes and submit them to clients promptly.
- Order Follow-up: Follow up on submitted quotations to close orders, negotiate basic commercial terms, and obtain purchase orders (POs).
- Payment Collection: Coordinate with client finance teams for timely payment collection and invoice clearing when needed.
3. Reporting & Feedback (10%)
- Daily Travel Logs: Maintain daily visit reports, customer feedback logs, and updated lead pipelines in the company CRM.
- Market Intelligence: Collect ground feedback on competitor pricing, lead times, and product availability to inform senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on field sales experience, ideally in industrial products, hardware, piping components, or mechanical equipment. Fresh graduates with a strong technical background and high drive will also be considered.
- Travel Requirement: High willingness to travel locally and regionally (50–70% field travel).
- Vehicle: Valid driver's license (ownership of a two-wheeler/car is a strong plus).
- Basic Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with basic piping concepts, thread types (NPT/BSP), valve types (ball, gate, check), and unit conversions (PSI, Bar) is preferred.

- Time Management: Ability to plan efficient daily travel routes to maximize client touchpoints per day.
- New Lead Generation: Prospect and cold-call potential clients including local interested parties
- Product Demonstrations: Carry product samples to showcase the build quality, thread fitting accuracy, and gauge durability directly to technical teams.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong day-to-day working relationships with client staff and site personnel.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
