Job Title: HR Officer – Cocopeat Factory
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing workforce requirements, employee discipline, attendance, labour coordination, and HR activities at the cocopeat factory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and coordinate daily manpower requirements based on production needs.
2. Monitor worker attendance, shift allocation, late coming and absenteeism.
3. Coordinate recruitment of factory workers, operators, helpers and supervisors.
4. Manage contract labour and manpower agencies.
5. Conduct joining formalities and employee induction.
6. Maintain employee and worker records, including joining and exit documents.
7. Prepare and verify attendance and overtime data for salary processing.
8. Coordinate with Production and Factory Managers for manpower deployment.
9. Handle worker concerns, grievances and day-to-day employee issues.
10. Monitor discipline and compliance with factory rules.
11. Coordinate employee welfare activities such as canteen, transport, uniforms and basic facilities.
12. Support training programs, safety training and awareness sessions for workers.
13. Maintain records related to PF, ESI and other statutory requirements.
14. Assist in labour law compliance and statutory inspections.
15. Prepare daily and monthly manpower and HR reports.
16. Conduct exit formalities and employee feedback.
17. Support management in improving worker productivity, retention and discipline.
18. Perform other HR and administrative duties assigned by the Factory Management.
Required Skills
· Good communication and worker-handling skills
· Knowledge of factory HR activities
· Basic knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance
· Good Excel and MIS reporting skills
· Manpower planning and coordination
· Problem-solving and grievance-handling ability
Qualification & Experience
Qualification: MBA/PGDM – HR, MSW, BBA/BBM – HR or equivalent
Experience: 2–5 years in manufacturing/factory HR, preferably with experience in handling large numbers of workers and contract labour.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
