Job Summary
Spunweb Nonwoven Limited is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Executive to manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth IT operations, provide technical support, maintain systems and networks, and contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
- Monitor and maintain network performance, including LAN/WAN and internet connectivity
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Ensure data security, backup, and recovery processes are in place and functioning
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
- Coordinate with external vendors for IT services and equipment procurement
- Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and system logs
- Assist in implementing new technologies and IT projects
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in IT support or system administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and hardware troubleshooting
- Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and antivirus systems
- Understanding of data backup and cybersecurity practices
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP systems (especially in manufacturing environments)
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
- Basic understanding of server management and virtualization
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or equivalent are a plus
