We are looking for a Crane Department Assistant to support service coordination, spare parts management, and maintenance activities for crane operations. The role involves close coordination with site teams, service technicians, stores, and purchase departments to ensure smooth crane service operations and timely documentation.
1. Site Coordination & Service Support
Coordinate with site supervisors, operators, and service technicians for preventive maintenance and breakdown services.
Act as the point of contact between site teams and the service department.
Track pending service jobs and ensure timely closure.
2. Spare Parts & Inventory Coordination
Follow up with purchase and stores for availability and delivery of spare parts.
Raise indents for critical spares based on site requirements.
Coordinate movement of spare parts between main store, sub-store, and project sites.
3. Data Collection & Reporting
Maintain spare parts consumption data (site-wise and crane-wise).
Update maintenance records, service logs, and spare usage reports.
Maintain proper documentation for completed and pending services.
4. Documentation & Compliance
Ensure job cards, service reports, and checklists are properly filled and submitted.
Support compliance with company maintenance standards, OEM guidelines, and safety requirements.
Experience in the crane or heavy equipment industry
Strong follow-up and documentation skills
Ability to work with multiple teams and handle field coordination
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electronics (preferred)
2–5 years of experience in crane service / heavy equipment / construction equipment
Basic knowledge of crane systems, spare parts, and maintenance processes
Good coordination and communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
Willingness to travel to project sites
