Job Summary:
Responsible for leading pattern development, garment fit, technical specifications, and production feasibility to ensure products meet buyer requirements, quality standards, and cost targets. The role acts as the key liaison between design, merchandising, sampling, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and approve garment patterns using CAD/manual methods.
- Review tech packs and ensure accurate interpretation of buyer requirements.
- Conduct fit sessions and implement fit corrections.
- Create and maintain measurement specifications and grading rules.
- Ensure production feasibility while maintaining garment aesthetics.
- Work closely with merchandising and sampling teams to meet development timelines.
- Resolve technical issues during sampling and production stages.
- Lead technical audits and compliance with buyer standards.
- Support cost optimization initiatives through value engineering.
- Train and mentor pattern masters and technical staff.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in garment technical development.
- Strong knowledge of pattern making, grading, garment construction, and fit analysis.
- Experience with US buyers and Walmart specifications preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD pattern software.
Pay: ₹10,075.81 - ₹50,509.61 per month
