Advance Agrolife Limited is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented Senior Purchase Manager to lead our procurement function. If you have expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, and procurement of chemical raw materials, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Expertise in sourcing, procurement, and vendor management of packaging materials, including Bottles, Pouches, Labels, Corrugated Boxes (C-Boxes), Caps, Shrink Sleeves, and Packaging Accessories.
Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging materials, engineering items, and plant consumables.
Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
Monitor inventory levels and optimize procurement costs.
Prepare procurement MIS, cost comparison statements, and management reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
Lead and mentor the purchase team to achieve departmental objectives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, or Materials Management will be an added advantage.
5–8 years of procurement experience in the Agrochemical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Fertilizer, or Manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of vendor management, procurement planning, and supply chain operations.
Hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1) and Advanced MS Excel.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
