Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and skilled PHP Developer with 1–4 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of core PHP, MySQL, and MVC architecture. Experience working with eCommerce platforms, especially OpenCart, will be considered a strong advantage.
The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications and eCommerce solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
- Work with MySQL databases, queries, and optimization
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and plugins
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues
- Collaborate with frontend developers and designers
- Maintain code versioning using Git
- Optimize applications for performance and security
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions
- Customize and maintain eCommerce solutions
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Core PHP
- Good understanding of MySQL and database design
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Understanding of MVC architecture
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Knowledge of Git/version control systems
- Basic understanding of web security and performance optimization
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred / Plus Point Skills
- Experience with OpenCart framework or similar eCommerce platforms
- Knowledge of Laravel or CodeIgniter
- Experience in custom module or plugin development
- Familiarity with payment gateway integration
- Understanding of SEO-friendly development practices
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Equivalent practical experience is also acceptable
