Job Summary
The Senior Store Keeper is responsible for overseeing store and warehouse operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising store staff, ensuring proper storage of materials, and coordinating with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily store and warehouse activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Issue materials as per approved requisitions and maintain proper documentation.
- Monitor stock movements and conduct regular physical stock audits.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials.
- Coordinate with procurement for replenishment of stock and reporting shortages.
- Prepare inventory reports, stock statements, and management reports.
- Supervise store assistants and storekeepers.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and company policies.
- Manage material returns, damaged goods, and obsolete stock.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management.
- Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
