JOB RELATED COMMUNICATIONS
Responsible for Modelling by TEKLA within the schedule allocated. The Modeler should have working relationship and collaborates with all Design and Detailing Engineers.
RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES
· Studies and validates requirements as given in the work order and makes sure that all clarifications have been followed during Modelling.
· Model all type of structures assigned to him using Tekla with detailing standards, and procedures.
· To follow rules and standards to ensure best output to facilitate the fabrication team.
· Reports to checker about any special and non-standard inventory items, non-standard fabrication requirements, non-standard shipping requirements and any difficulties he might encounter.
· Works closely with the checker to ensure his/her work is error-free.
· Responsible for the structural integrity and co-ordinates with Fabrication team for any issues related to detailing.
JOB RELATED COMPETENCIES & SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· Diploma/BE/MTech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 4 years of experience in PEB detailing
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILSS & ABILITIES
· A good knowledge of AutoCAD and Tekla.
· Ability to independently evaluate, select, and apply standard detailing practice, procedures using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
· A sufficient knowledge of PEB manufacturing practices.
· The maturity and ability to effectively meet with customers and properly communicate TNT standard practices.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
· To be fit mentally, have good vision and able to use hands efficiently.
· Work in office environment using common office equipment such as computer and printer.
· Should be a team player and co-ordinate with various department for smooth functioning of the company.
