JOB DESCRIPTION
The Cards & Connected Commerce Finance team provides real-time insights to Cards & Connected Commerce leadership on Business Performance, Annual operating plans, Standard financial reporting, Bespoke analysis, Investment decisioning, Marketing analytics, Card P&A, Card Forecasting Modelling and Financial Analytics. The team is structured with dedicated CFO's or CFO support teams, with each card product having its own on dedicated P&L and subsequent Balance sheet impacts. Team is adept translating business scenarios to actionable financial insights and is called upon to help on real time business decisioning on a variety of topics.
As a Cards Finance Associate within our Finance team, you will define, refine, and deliver financial goals that support our firm's card acquisition strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Sales, and Product to align financial objectives with business goals and promote market expansion and customer growth. You will perform detailed financial analyses, including cost-benefit assessments, ROI and NPV calculations, and performance tracking to inform investment decisions. You will forecast financial results for acquisition initiatives using advanced analytical techniques and scenario-based modeling to guide resource allocation. You will build comprehensive financial business cases that quantify ROI, payback periods, and sensitivities to key promoters for strategic initiatives. You will design and maintain reports and dashboards that provide timely, accurate financial results and insights to senior leadership. You will prepare and present regular financial reports, forecasts, and executive-ready presentations that highlight key trends, risks, and opportunities. You will define and monitor KPIs and success metrics to evaluate campaign performance and promote continuous improvement. You will enhance financial controls and streamline processes by introducing automation to reduce cycle times and error rates. You will cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear, data-promoten recommendations that support informed decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
- Track and evaluate card acquisition campaign performance, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize strategies and improve outcomes.

Forecast financial results for acquisition strategies using advanced statistical techniques (e.g., time series modeling, cohort analysis, scenario planning, Monte Carlo simulations) to guide investment decisions.

Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.

Build comprehensive financial business cases that support strategic initiatives and quantify ROI, payback, and sensitivity to key drivers.

Develop and track performance metrics; create executive-ready presentations; and deliver financial analysis on a wide range of topics for senior management.

Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product to align financial objectives with business goals and accelerate card acquisition.

Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing financial expertise and timely support.

Design and implement new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver financial results and insights to senior leadership.

Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation to reduce cycle times and error rates.
Prepare insightful, high-quality senior management presentations with clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages as required.

Ensure all reports include insightful commentary on key movements, underlying drivers, and watch items.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- CFA/ MBA/ (Finance)/ PG in Statistics/Economics(or similar educational background)
- Experience in credit card strategies, financial analysis, or related areas

Strong financial analytical skills – Fusion of Finance and Data Capabilities

Strong Team Management Skills – With experience in managing Associate level population

Excellent communication and partnering skills. Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment

Expert knowledge of Excel (i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 4+ years of experience in finance, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.

Background in Data Science a strong plus. Experience in SQL/SAS/Python/Tableau a plus
