Key Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQs, costing, estimates and quotations for Solar EPC projects.
- Study project requirements, technical specifications, drawings and tender documents.
- Estimate quantities and costs for solar modules, inverters, mounting structures, DC/AC cables, electrical equipment and accessories.
- Estimate civil, installation, testing and commissioning costs.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, pricing and technical information.
- Coordinate with internal Design, Purchase, Project and Sales teams.
- Prepare competitive commercial offers while maintaining project margins.
- Review BOQs and identify scope, quantity and cost variations.
- Maintain proper records of costing sheets, vendor rates, BOQs and quotations.
- Support tender preparation and quotation revisions as required.
Requirements
✔ 2–5 years of experience in Solar EPC Costing & Estimation.
✔ Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
✔ Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, costing and estimation.
✔ Good understanding of Solar PV systems and electrical components.
✔ Ability to read drawings and understand technical specifications.
✔ Good analytical, commercial and vendor coordination skills.
✔ Solar EPC / Electrical EPC experience preferred.
