Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented L2 Network Engineer to support and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN technologies, and will be responsible for maintaining network availability, performance, and security across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day L2 support for network-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolution for LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN infrastructure.
Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN edge devices.
Monitor network performance and availability using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar. Escalate complex issues to L3/network architects while providing detailed diagnostic information.
Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for WAN link issues, provisioning, and upgrades. Assist with the implementation and support of SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Fortinet, Versa, or others).
Document network changes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps following ITIL best practices.
Participate in network maintenance windows and on-call rotations as required. Maintain and update network topology diagrams and asset inventory.
Support branch office and remote site connectivity, including VPN and SD-WAN configurations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in network engineering or administration.
Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts.
Hands-on experience with routers, switches (Cisco, HP, Juniper, etc.).
Familiarity with WAN technologies (MPLS, Internet VPN, DIA, etc.).
Exposure to SD-WAN platforms (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Fortinet, Aruba, Silver Peak, or Versa). Understanding of network security principles and basic firewall configurations.
Experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
