As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support payroll operations in a remote work environment.
Job Overview
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for managing payroll data, processing employee compensation, and ensuring accuracy across all payroll-related activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
1)Maintain and update employee payroll records, including attendance, leave balances, and overtime.
2)Prepare and verify payroll statements, including gross earnings, net pay, and applicable deductions. Process payroll transactions such as salaries, bonuses, and vacation pay.
3)Handle documentation related to employee benefits, including insurance and leave entitlements.
4)Assist in preparing payroll reports and statutory documentation, including year-end records. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, compensation, and benefits. Compile and review payroll summaries, reports, and financial data. Reconcile payroll records with financial statements and ensure accuracy.
5)Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner. Support improvements in payroll processes and internal procedures.
Work Conditions
Fully remote role requiring a stable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
Full-time schedule (30–40 hours per week) aligned with business operations.
Requirements
- Completion of secondary school (high school diploma)
- Strong practical understanding of payroll processes and compensation structures
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to payroll systems and software
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
