Experienced Platform Admin in Mumbai who works mainly on high-performance messaging or caching systems like RabbitMQ or VMware Tanzu GemFire (or GemFire Management Console - GMC)
· Strong experience in administration of VMware Tanzu GemFire, RabbitMQ OR GemFire Management Console environments
· Design, install, configure, and maintain large-scale GemFire clusters across multi-data-center environments.
· Manage GemFire components including Locators, Cache Servers, JMX Managers, Gateway Senders/Receivers and WAN replication setup.
· Create and manage regions (Partitioned, Replicated, Local), deploy functions, and administer clusters using GFSH.
· Perform GemFire cluster rolling/offline upgrades, backup & restore activities, and import/export of GemFire data and configurations.
· Configure TTL (Time-to-Live), TTI (Time-to-Idle), eviction policies, and optimize cluster performance and memory usage.
· Implement SSL/TLS encryption, configure ciphers, LDAP/RBAC integration, and manage GemFire Security Manager authentication/authorization.
· Design, install, configure, and maintain GMC clusters with proactive monitoring, operational health checks, automation, and self-service capabilities for application teams.
· Strong troubleshooting skills with log analysis, thread dumps, heap/memory dumps, support bundle collection, and RCA preparation.
· Install, configure, and maintain RabbitMQ clusters including exchanges, queues, bindings, vhosts, federation, shovels, clustering, and HA setup.
· Secure RabbitMQ environments using SSL/TLS, LDAP integration, user permissions, and perform upgrades, backups, and message store optimization.
· Develop Shell scripts for health checks, scheduled maintenance, and node startup/shutdown/restart automation activities.
· Strong RHEL administration skills including networking diagnostics (tcpdump, traceroute, netstat, ss) and storage/LVM management.
· Understanding of caching concepts, IMDG, NoSQL databases, Kubernetes architecture, pod lifecycle, deployments, and CI/CD/DevOps integration.
