Job Title: Accounts Manager
Reports To: Owner / Director / CFO
Objective of the Role
To manage and control all accounting, compliance, and financial reporting activities across the café and jewellery manufacturing businesses, ensuring accuracy, timely closures, and strong cash-flow discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for both entities (café and jewellery).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.
Ensure all entries comply with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
Own the monthly closure process: accruals, prepaids, provisions, reconciliations.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits, tax audits, and internal reviews.
Oversee customer billing, collections, and follow-ups (especially for jewellery B2B and café vendors).
Manage vendor payments, GRN matching, and payment scheduling to optimize cash flow.
Ensure timely GST filing, TDS deduction/deposit, and other statutory compliances.
Maintain proper documentation and reconciliation for GST input credit and output liability.
Monitor daily/weekly cash positions across both businesses.
Manage banking relationships, loan documentation, and working capital requirements.
Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Track actuals vs budget, highlight variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
Manage accounts executives / clerks handling data entry, billing, and basic reconciliations.
Build SOPs for billing, payments, reconciliations, and closures to reduce errors and delays.
Provide financial insights for key decisions: new café equipment purchase, jewellery raw material procurement, exhibition participation, etc.
Support owner with investor-ready MIS, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis.
Required Qualifications & Key Skills
1. B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)
2. 4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing + F&B or similar multi-unit setups.
3. Strong command over Tally / Busy / SAP / similar ERP
4. Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliations)
5. Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic labour law compliance
6. Ability to work independently, prioritize, and drive deadlines
7. Clear communication with vendors, bankers, auditors, and internal teams
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
