About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP-CPI Developer with strong hands-on experience in SAP Integration Suite / SAP Cloud Integration to design, develop, configure, deploy, monitor, and support integration scenarios across SAP and non-SAP systems. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on iFlows, APIs, adapters, mappings, error handling, security configurations, testing, documentation, and production support. Candidates with experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Salesforce, third-party applications, and cloud-to-cloud or cloud-to-on-premise integrations will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and deploy integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Integration Suite / SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Build and support interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Salesforce, external APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Work on integration scenarios involving REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, RFC, JMS, and other standard adapters.
- Develop message mappings, XML/JSON transformations, XSLT mappings, content modifiers, routers, filters, exception subprocesses, and reusable integration components.
- Configure security-related components such as OAuth, basic authentication, client certificates, keystore entries, PGP encryption, credentials, and secure connectivity.
- Support API integration, API testing, payload analysis, monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable integration designs and technical specifications.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, UAT support, cutover support, and post-go-live production support.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams, business users, project managers, and client stakeholders across remote and international environments.
- Support migration or modernization of legacy integrations from SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite, where applicable.
Required Technical Skills
- SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite / SAP Cloud Integration (CPI)
- Hands-on iFlow development, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Integration adapters such as SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, RFC, JMS, and Mail
- API integration, API testing, Postman or similar tools, and payload debugging
- Security configuration including OAuth, certificates, keystore, credentials, and PGP encryption
- Error handling, exception management, retry mechanisms, monitoring, and alerting
- Basic understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and enterprise integration processes
- Technical documentation, unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and production support
What We're Looking For
- 3-6 years of professional experience in SAP integration development.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI / SAP Cloud Integration implementation and support projects.
- Ability to independently design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot integration interfaces.
- Good understanding of integration architecture, data formats, mapping logic, APIs, and secure connectivity.
- Strong analytical thinking, issue resolution, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working remotely with international teams and cross-functional client stakeholders.
