Job Title: Shift Engineer (AFBC Boiler)
Location: Maharashtra Warnanagar, kolhapur
Job Summary
We are looking for a Shift Engineer with hands-on experience in AFBC Boiler Operations & Maintenance. The candidate should be responsible for smooth boiler operation, monitoring plant parameters, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring safe and efficient plant performance.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) / B.E. Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in AFBC Boiler operation and maintenance is mandatory
- Experience in power plant/steam generation industry will be preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor AFBC Boiler during shift operations.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted boiler performance.
- Monitor steam pressure, temperature, fuel consumption, and other operating parameters.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify operational abnormalities.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain shift logs, operation records, and daily reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Troubleshoot boiler-related issues and take corrective actions.
- Support startup, shutdown, and emergency operations of the boiler.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of AFBC Boiler systems and auxiliaries.
- Understanding of boiler safety procedures and operational practices.
- Ability to handle shift operations independently.
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in AFBC Boiler operations.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Ready to relocate to Maharashtra.
