Key Responsibilities
- Material Planning & Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and bought-out components, plan procurement based on predefined Min-Max-Reorder levels, and ensure uninterrupted material availability for production.
- Purchase Planning & Order Management
- Generate material requirements based on production plans, prepare Purchase Orders, and ensure timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices.
- Vendor Management & Development
- Coordinate with existing suppliers, identify alternate sources, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery.
- Production & Stores Coordination
- Work closely with Production Planning and Stores teams to track material requirements, monitor stock availability, resolve shortages, and support smooth manufacturing operations.
- Purchase Follow-up & Expediting
- Continuously monitor open Purchase Orders, follow up with suppliers for on-time deliveries, and proactively resolve delays to avoid production interruptions.
- Inventory Optimization
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and excess inventory, recommend corrective actions, and support initiatives to improve inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
- ERP & Documentation
- Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier databases, price history, inventory data, and procurement reports in the ERP system while ensuring complete documentation.
- Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization
- Participate in supplier development, cost reduction initiatives, standardization of components, and process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and support the company's growth.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
