Assistant Professor – Sociology
Eligibility Criteria -
l M.A. in Sociology from a recognised university.
l UGC NET qualification is mandatory, or a PhD in the relevant discipline as per UGC norms.
l Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a recognised college or university.
l Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
l Commitment to teaching, research, and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
l Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate Sociology courses effectively.
l Prepare lesson plans, conduct lectures, tutorials, and assessments.
l Guide and mentor students in academic and research activities.
l Participate in curriculum development, departmental activities, and university committees.
l Contribute to research, publications, seminars, workshops, and academic events.
l Perform other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the University.
