We are urgently looking for a Labour welfare officer for our yarn manufacturing comany.
A Labour Welfare Officer acts as a neutral bridge between factory management and workers. He/ She ensures statutory legal compliance, manage employee grievances, supervise health and safety programs, and foster a peaceful, productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Grievance Redressal: Listen to worker complaints and bring issues to management for quick fixes.
- Legal Compliance: Make sure the company follows labor laws, factory acts, and safety rules.
- Welfare Supervision: Oversee worker facilities like canteens, rest areas, and drinking water.
- Industrial Harmony: Mediate disputes to prevent illegal strikes or lockouts.
- Employee Counseling: Offer guidance on personal or work stress to help workers adjust.
- Safety & Health Coordination: Coordinate medical check-ups, safety training, and first-aid services.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Degree plus a specialized Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Social Work (MSW) or Labour Welfare
- Language: Strong command of the local language and English to communicate with both workers and top management.
- Core Skills: Empathy, active listening, conflict resolution, and deep knowledge of regional labor statutes.
NOTE: Accomodation and food will be provided.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
