Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Spring Framework. Create and execute automated functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites across enterprise applications. Develop robust test strategies to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance. Plan, execute, and analyze performance testing activities to validate system scalability, stability, and responsiveness under varying loads. Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback. Identify, document, and track defects while working closely with development teams for timely resolution. Perform root cause analysis of production issues and contribute to preventive quality measures. Participate in test planning, code reviews, and quality assurance best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in Java and object-oriented programming concepts. Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development. Good understanding of Spring Framework / Spring Boot for API and backend testing. Proven experience in Performance Testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or equivalent. Experience in API testing using tools/frameworks such as REST Assured, Postman, or similar. Strong knowledge of test design techniques, automation best practices, and quality engineering principles. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing microservices and distributed systems architectures. Exposure to Kafka or event-driven systems testing. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with security testing and non-functional testing practices. Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
