Job Title: Senior Manager - Legal Litigation – Mumbai
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Legal Litigation to manage the organisation’s litigation portfolio, legal proceedings, regulatory compliances and related legal operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Section 138 matters, SARFAESI, arbitration and banking/financial services litigation, along with sound knowledge of RBI reporting and legal MIS.
Job Responsibility
- Manage and monitor end-to-end litigation matters including Section 138, SARFAESI, arbitration and other civil/criminal proceedings.
- Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, legal consultants and internal stakeholders for ongoing cases.
- Handle legal notices, court matters, hearings, pleadings, documentation and case follow-ups.
- Ensure timely filing, tracking and closure of litigation matters.
- Monitor Section 138 proceedings and ensure effective recovery/legal action.
- Manage SARFAESI-related legal proceedings, documentation and compliance requirements.
- Handle arbitration matters, including coordination with arbitrators and legal counsel.
- Prepare and maintain Litigation MIS, case trackers, dashboards and management reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate RBI reporting and other regulatory/legal reporting requirements.
- Prepare and submit Wilful Defaulter reports and coordinate related legal and regulatory activities.
- Maintain comprehensive records of legal cases, notices, orders, documentation and case status.
- Identify legal risks and provide timely inputs to the Head – Legal and management.
- Coordinate with business, collections, credit, compliance and other departments on legal matters.
- Support the Head – Legal in various legal, litigation and back-end activitiesKey Skills:Mandatory:
