Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications tailored to meet specific business needs. This role requires acting as the main liaison between various stakeholders, ensuring that project objectives are clearly understood and delivered efficiently. The position demands overseeing the progress of application development, coordinating with different teams to align efforts, and continuously refining solutions to enhance overall system performance and user satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- SAP S/4 version upgrade, exposure to simplification list assessment, SAP readiness check, remediation, and functional testing. experience in S/4 upgrade is must skill.
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing within the team to promote continuous improvement.
- Monitor project milestones and ensure timely delivery of software components.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP MM Materials Management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP Materials Management modules to align with business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP MM and other SAP modules such as Finance and Production Planning.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to materials management workflows and data consistency.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
