We're looking for a passionate and experienced Video Editor who doesn't just edit clips—but understands emotions, relationships, and storytelling.
Job Responsibilities
- Edit cinematic pre-wedding films, wedding films, teasers, highlights, reels, and social media content.
- Craft compelling storylines using music, pacing, emotions, and natural moments.
- Understand couple chemistry and transform raw footage into emotionally engaging films.
- Edit documentary-style wedding films that feel authentic and timeless.
- Select the best shots and build narratives that create a lasting emotional impact.
- Collaborate closely with photographers, cinematographers, and the creative team.
- Maintain high-quality editing standards while meeting project deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest editing trends, storytelling techniques, and social media formats.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong experience editing wedding films, pre-wedding films, teasers, reels, or cinematic content.
- Excellent storytelling skills and a strong understanding of human emotions and relationship dynamics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or other professional editing software.
- Good understanding of music selection, pacing, color grading, sound design, and cinematic transitions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Bonus Skills
- Previous experience in the wedding or pre-wedding industry.
- Experience editing trending Instagram Reels and short-form content.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and titles.
- Photoshop skills for thumbnails, graphics, or basic image editing.
- Basic understanding of cameras, cinematography, and shoot workflows.
- Experience with color grading and audio enhancement.
