Cybersecurity Governance & Coordination Engineer

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Governance & Coordination Engineer to drive cybersecurity governance initiatives, ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements, and coordinate security activities across technology teams.
The role involves working closely with Information Security, Infrastructure, Application, Cloud, DBA, Risk, and Audit teams to monitor cybersecurity controls, track security action items, support audits, and ensure timely closure of security risks. The ideal candidate should have strong stakeholder management, governance, reporting, and coordination skills.

Drive cybersecurity governance activities across IT and business functions.

Monitor compliance with information security policies, standards, and procedures.

Ensure security controls are implemented and periodically reviewed.

Track cybersecurity initiatives and ensure timely completion.

Coordinate with Infrastructure, Application, Cloud, DBA, Network, and Security teams to track security action items.

Conduct regular governance meetings and review pending security activities.

Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely closure of security observations.

Escalate overdue security risks and action items to management when required.

Support internal, external, and regulatory audits (RBI, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc.).

Maintain audit evidence and documentation.

Track audit findings and coordinate timely closure.

Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.

Monitor cybersecurity risks and maintain governance trackers.
-
Track vulnerability remediation, patch compliance, and security initiatives.
-
Ensure security exceptions are documented, reviewed, and approved.

Maintain action trackers for security observations and remediation activities.

Prepare weekly and monthly cybersecurity governance reports.

Develop dashboards showing compliance status, risk posture, audit observations, and action item progress.

Present governance metrics to management and leadership teams.

Track KPIs and generate management reports.

Maintain governance documentation, policies, procedures, and process documents.

Update governance trackers and compliance records.
-
Ensure documentation is accurate and audit ready.
