In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and manage open PO reports effectively
- Collaborate with suppliers for order acknowledgements, confirmations, and delivery commitments
- Maintain accurate ERP updates, including confirmation dates and material master data
- Partner with plant teams to resolve PO-related queries and ensure alignment
- Analyze supply-demand requirements and release materials to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Execute and manage system exception messages (expedite, defer, etc.) in ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle
- Coordinate with suppliers to track deliveries, maintain promise dates, and improve reliability
- Work closely with global stakeholders to ensure material availability and continuity
- Support supplier relationship management initiatives and enhance supplier performance
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure timely supplier payments
- Manage material master setup, audits, and data accuracy within ERP systems
- Handle MRO procurement activities from requisition to PO conversion
- Validate supplier lead times and ensure alignment with delivery commitments
- Support reporting requirements for customers, suppliers, and management reviews
- Escalate supply or delivery issues proactively to planning and supply chain teams
- Resolve invoice discrepancies by working on parked or blocked invoice reports
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and delivery performance while supporting inventory goals

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing operations
- Knowledge of sourcing practices, supplier management, and supply chain processes
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data interpretation and reporting
- Proficiency in digital tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with a proactive mindset
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Educational background in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field
- Experience in industries such as casting, forging, or machining
- Exposure to project management practices or certifications
- Comfort working in flexible or shift-based working hours to support global operations
