Job Description – Video Editor & Graphic Designer
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content, ensuring high-quality output.
- Add graphics, animations, transitions, and other visual effects to enhance video storytelling.
- Design engaging graphics for social media posts, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns using Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Create visually appealing thumbnails, banners, and other assets to complement video content.
- Collaborate with the content team to create promotional videos, tutorials, and social media clips.
- Ensure videos and graphics align with the brand’s tone, style, and guidelines.
- Assist in brainstorming and conceptualizing creative video and design ideas for campaigns.
- Stay updated on video editing and graphic design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Organize and manage video and design files and assets for easy access.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Media, Film Studies, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic design tasks.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics tools like After Effects is a plus.
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling in video editing.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to take feedback constructively and improve edits and designs as per requirements.
- Familiarity with different video formats, codecs, and graphic file types.
