Internal Audit SOP
1. Audit Planning & Preparation
2. Collect reports (staff reports, treatment report, clinical & billable product report, asset report).
3. Coordinate with the branch to understand the requirements and arrange solutions to support day-to-day activities.
4. Monitor branch staff activities and guide them to follow the SOP. If any issues are found, highlight them to management.
5. Prepare attendance reports to ensure staff arrive at the branch on time.
6. Monitor CCTV footage (staff movements and activities) to ensure protocol is followed.
7. Verify loan applications and approvals.
8. Oversee the refund process and handle escalations.
9. Verify ERP updates for billable products.
10. Provide proper training to Branch Managers (BM), Consultants, and other staff members.
11. If any mistakes are identified in staff activities, correct them through training. If issues persist, implement regulatory penalties as necessary.
Audit External Responsibilities
- Before branch opening, the audit should report to the branch.
- First, check the sales cash and petty cash manually and systematically in the ERP system.
- Check branch billable and clinical centre stock and physical stock.
- Assess overall branch hygiene and identify any unwanted items or issues.
- Verify that the profiles suggested by the doctor have been delivered to the client.
- Review unregistered profiles, refund request letters, and declaration forms.
