Job Summary:
The F&B Service Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role requires good communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
- Present menu and provide detailed information when requested (e.g., ingredients, preparation methods)
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the system
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained at all times
- Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any complaints efficiently
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Process bills and handle payments (cash/card)
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards as per company policies
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Assist in setting up and closing the restaurant/service area
Requirements & Skills:
- Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass (Diploma in Hospitality is a plus)
- Previous experience in F&B service preferred but not mandatory
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-oriented with a positive attitude
