Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Associate with 2–3 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for customer coordination, shipment tracking, operational support, documentation, and maintaining accurate shipment records while ensuring excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment inquiries and updates.
- Coordinate with overseas agents, airlines, shipping lines, transporters, and internal teams.
- Monitor and track shipments from origin to destination and provide timely status updates to customers.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and service requests professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain and update shipment records, operational data, and customer information in the system.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, and operational reports.
- Ensure timely execution of shipments and smooth operational coordination.
- Follow up on shipment milestones and resolve any operational issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping for all shipments.
- Support the operations team in day-to-day freight forwarding activities.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain Operations.
- Strong understanding of Air Freight and Ocean Freight operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
