Key ResponsibilitiesPreventive Maintenance
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance of forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Inspect engines, hydraulic systems, brakes, steering, tires, batteries, and electrical systems.
- Maintain service records and checklists.
Breakdown Maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and transmission faults.
- Attend emergency breakdowns at customer sites when required.
- Minimize equipment downtime through quick troubleshooting.
Repair & Servicing
- Repair diesel, LPG, and battery-operated forklifts.
- Replace defective spare parts and components.
- Perform engine overhauling and hydraulic repairs when required.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow company safety procedures and workshop discipline.
- Ensure tools and equipment are handled safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop.
Documentation
- Maintain job cards and service reports.
- Record spare parts usage and maintenance history.
- Report major issues to the supervisor.
Customer Support
- Coordinate with operations and rental teams regarding machine status.
- Explain repair status and maintenance recommendations when required.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of forklift systems and automobile mechanics.
- Understanding of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Basic understanding of preventive maintenance schedules.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
