- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitation fittings.
- Inspect plumbing systems regularly to identify leaks, clogs, or other issues.
- Unclog drains, toilets, and sinks using appropriate tools and methods.
- Repair or replace faulty taps, flush tanks, showerheads, and pipelines.
- Install water heaters, water tanks, pumps, and related plumbing fixtures.
- Ensure proper functioning of sewer systems and stormwater drainage.
- Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies in classrooms, dormitories, kitchens, and staff quarters.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all plumbing systems to avoid major breakdowns.
- Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Check and maintain water pressure in pipelines across the campus.
- Work closely with electricians, carpenters, and other maintenance staff for coordinated work.
- Advise school administration on plumbing system upgrades or replacements.
- Assist during construction or renovation projects within the school.
- Monitor and maintain an inventory of plumbing tools, materials, and spare parts.
