About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about improving manufacturing processes, solving technical challenges, and working in a collaborative environment. You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize production, improve quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Analyze production data to identify process improvements and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) and manufacturing process validation.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to resolve engineering challenges.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with equipment selection, tooling design, and production planning.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and engineering recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and quality principles.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or CATIA.
- Familiarity with GD&T, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Understanding of CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, or production operations is a plus.
- Exposure to ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience through internships, academic projects, research, or industry experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing automation, robotics, PLCs, or Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, or Power BI is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a continuous learning mindset.
