- Sourcing & Vetting: Identify and onboard reliable vendors capable of manufacturing or supplying automotive components in compliance with industry standards.
- Vendor Relationships: Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and payment terms to maximize cost-efficiency and supply reliability.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor supplier performance continuously, driving improvements in delivery times, part quality, and cost reductions.
Order Execution & Inventory Control
- Purchase Orders (POs): Prepare, issue, and manage POs in databases (e.g., Tally, SAP), ensuring accuracy in pricing and quantities.
- Stock Monitoring: Track inventory levels to prevent production bottlenecks, expediting critical shipments of spare parts or raw materials as needed.
- Logistics & Delivery: Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure incoming shipments are accurate and properly stored.
Quality & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Quality Assurance: Inspect purchased products to verify they meet strict automotive and engineering specifications.
- Team Alignment: Work closely with engineering, production planning, and quality assurance teams to support production targets
