Freelance Consultant – HR
HIRING FOR SELF - A freelance HR with core HR experience of 3-5 years required to work with our team of dedicated HR Consultants working specifically for Manufacturing clients for last 3 years. The company will be floated in next 1-2 months.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategically aligned HR Freelancer to support the design, documentation, and structuring of HR policies, governance frameworks, and strategic HR advisory projects. The role involves translating business and compliance requirements into structured, professional, implementation-ready documentation.
This is a full time based remote engagement with flexibility, but high expectations around quality, ownership, and turnaround timelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Policy Development
- Draft, review, and structure HR policies aligned with Indian labor laws and governance best practices.
- Develop policy manuals including Code of Conduct, POSH-aligned frameworks, grievance mechanisms, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure policies are aligned with business strategy, scalability, and risk mitigation.
2. HR Process Advisory Documentation
- Develop end-to-end HR lifecycle process documents (recruitment, onboarding, PMS, training, separation).
- Draft SOPs, HR manuals, PMS formats, competency frameworks, and accountability matrices.
- Create structured documentation for HRMS implementation and governance frameworks.
3. Strategic HR Projects
- Assist in competency mapping frameworks and role-based capability structures.
- Develop PMS structures, KPI frameworks, and compensation alignment documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong drafting and documentation skills (clear, structured, legally sensitive language).
- Sound understanding of Indian labor laws and HR compliance frameworks.
- Experience in policy design, PMS frameworks, competency mapping, and HR structuring.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong research, analytical, and formatting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and structured documentation formatting.
Preferred Profile
- MBA (HR) / MSW / Industrial Psychology or equivalent.
- Prior experience in HR consulting, HR transformation projects, or governance advisory.
- Exposure to ISO, POSH compliance, GPTW frameworks, or structured HR audits is an advantage.
Benefits:
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
